Costs and Insurance
It costs money to do tests and have treatments at the hospital. Your health insurance provider will often pay some or all of these costs. The amount that they pay depends on two things: your health insurance and the agreements we have made with your insurance provider. We have contracts with insurance providers for all our tests and treatments. If you do not have insurance, you must pay the costs yourself.
Prices of tests and treatments
If you do not have insurance, you will have to pay the price for uninsured patients. You can use the care product code for your test or treatment to find out how much it will cost. Your specialist can give you the care product code. Prices (PDF) valid from:
Costs for telephone appointments
Sometimes you do not need to go to the hospital to talk to the person who is treating you. Instead, that person can call you at home to discuss your condition.
A telephone appointment costs the same as an appointment at the hospital.
