Ik studeerde geneeskunde aan de Radboud Universiteit in Nijmegen. Hierna deed ik 3 jaar promotieonderzoek in het Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston. Ik promoveerde op AI-voorspellingsmodellen binnen de wervelkolomchirurgie.
Mijn opleiding orthopedie volgde ik in de regio Utrecht in het UMC Utrecht, OLVG en het Sint Antoniusziekenhuis. Vanaf 1 januari 2026 sta ik geregistreerd als orthopedisch chirurg.
